We have a long-standing commitment to our customer's privacy that pre-dated the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) which took effect on April 14, 2003. In HIPAA the federal government mandated certain regulations regarding who protected health information can be shared with and under what conditions it can be shared.
